Each circle is a virtual, 75-minute session, with a recommended 15-minute break afterward for reflection.
Your group will consist of 6 participants, and you’ll embark on a 6-week journey together. Each session is hosted by your virtual facilitator, Dani. There’s no homework or preparation required; you'll receive an email a few days before each session outlining the theme, so you’ll know what to expect.
An example theme might be "What are your values?" The topics are broad enough to go beyond sustainability and explore who you are as an individual. After all, sustainability is just one aspect of your life and identity.
How does it feel?
These circles are designed to deepen your connection with yourself, helping you align with your values, beliefs, and what feels right to you. In a community of women who truly see and hear one another, you'll grow in your ability to shine, both within the circle and in your broader community.
How do I prepare?
Create a Safe Space: Find a quiet spot where you can speak freely and without interruptions.
Switch Off: Disconnect from notifications and distractions to fully engage in the circle.
Pen & Paper: Capture insights and reflections that may arise.
Reflect: Allow 15 minutes after your circle to reflect and absorb the experience.
Open & Close: Have a candle (or an electric one) ready to light at the start of the circle to symbolise our shared intention to shine together.
Here are answers to common questions to help you navigate your experience with our circle.
Women's circles offer emotional support, personal growth, and empowerment in a safe, nurturing space. They foster connection, encourage self-reflection, and promote healing through shared experiences and empathy. These circles boost confidence, enhance mental well-being, and inspire creativity. Participants gain clarity on their values, beliefs, and goals, while building resilience and accountability. Women's circles create a sense of community, helping women navigate challenges and thrive individually and collectively.
Confidentiality: What is shared in the circle stays in the circle.
No advice unless invited: Trust that each woman holds the answers within herself.
Deep listening: We prioritise listening without distractions, creating space for everyone to be heard.
During each virtual session, the facilitator will guide the group, reminding participants of these guidelines as needed. Don’t worry about remembering everything—we're here to help.
To tackle climate change and create a fairer world, we need connection and collaboration. The foundation of that connection is empathy, deep listening, and authenticity—qualities that are at the heart of women’s circles. To truly connect with others, we must first connect with ourselves.
It’s completely normal to feel hesitant at first. Many people aren’t used to exploring their feelings or being given permission to share their thoughts. If you’re unsure about sharing, please feel free to reach out to us directly, and we will offer one-on-one support to help you feel more comfortable.
Sharing is always voluntary. You are welcome to listen and absorb if you’re not ready to speak.
After booking, you’ll receive an automated welcome email along with a calendar invite. A few days before your first session, you'll receive an email introducing you to the next session and reminding you how to prepare. Your fellow participants will be on the same email.
We encourage participants to continue connecting after the program ends. Feel free to ask your fellow participants if they’d like to meet weekly, biweekly, or monthly. We’ll provide guides for future sessions, and you can reach out to us for additional support.
It’s best to attend each session for the full experience, but we understand if life gets in the way. Reach out for support if you miss one or if you know you will miss one.
You are asked to arrive with an open mind, respect others, and engage thoughtfully.
